Custom fittings are great, when needed and done right

 

Nice work with the site. I work at a shop and try to check here a few times a week when I'm not busy. I have a photo I want to share of a bike that really pisses me off every time I see it come through the door. One of our customers went to some other shop (a so called "complete cycle training center") and got a fitting from some douche who proclaims "I've done literally thousands of bicycle fittings." and a "custom" Guru road bike. Check the stem. Sick custom job guy! Now if by custom you mean you picked the horrible bubblegum pink color, then sure.(side note: we did a fitting with her, told her she was on too small a size, and when she wanted to keep the bike, took off the double stem risers that the fitter from the other shop had installed). Great job! Way to go!

 

Oh yeah, just a quick little personal rant...I do sincerely appreciate all the business that we receive. But if you're coming in to buy 3 packs of GU, don't make me break a $100 bill. I can tell from all the gold jewelry and the fake tan you're a lawyer from down the street. Pulling out a roll of 100's doesn't make you a baller, just a dick. There's a fucking bank right next door.
